RESUMate 2003 is a relational
database program. It maintains complete records of people
(candidates and sales contacts), companies, and job orders.
Records in one set of files
are easily cross-referenced with records in another set
of files. For example, candidate records can be cross-filed
with job order records. Job order records are always cross-filed
with the company from which the job order has come. Sales
contact records are cross-filed with the record of the company
at which the contact is employed.
This makes RESUMate a complete,
electronic filing system for a recruiting office. The database
records are the official records of the company, and since
RESUMate is a networked program, all persons in the office
have 100% simultaneous access to the files, all the time.
Records in the database are
complete, up-to-date, and accurate, the best possible on-line
information source for recruiters, research assistants,
administrative people, and managers.
Best of all, because RESUMate
is so easy to use, all of this information is easily accessed
while working on the telephone. Even recruiters who are
not experienced computer users can maintain concentration
on a sales or recruiting call, and still have on-line access
to all of the information contained in the files.
