Cumulus 5 Enterprise targets the global corporation with multi-located

2000, the Enterprise Edition leverages a new, open Cumulus
architecture that is powerful and flexible enough to adapt
to evolving technologies and company needs.
Product Highlights
Automatic detection of usage and cross-references of assets
(TM AXR). E.g. the Enterprise Edition will detect links and
placed assets in compound documents. It offers functionality
to easily maneouvre between such related assets, as well as
ease updating assets that include others which have been altered.
User and Group Privileges that allow specific user or group
access live filtering to exact categories and records.
In this way, asset access for the sales staff can be limited
to final, approved material, while the work in progress
in the marketing department should not be visible.
Includes the Cumulus Internet Client Option. Building on
the success of the Web Publisher Pro Option, the Enterprise
Edition will allow changing of record and category fields,
as well as Check-In and Check-Out functionality via the
Internet.Extended transaction-based server-side automation.
The Enterprise Edition will offer an additional API, allowing
a centrally customized solution to fit specific workflow
needs.
Extended Database connectivity. The Enterprise Edition
will offer an API to access industrial strengths databases
at optimal performance in order to store metadata and/or
assets.
The Enterprise Edition offers comprehensive search capabilities,
complete customization, unlimited scalability, multi-processor
support, and SDK/API Access. It includes version and check-in/check-out
