| Selligent has invested strongly
in Selligent.NET, its new Web-based product line, completely
rewritten in a pure thin-client - even zero-client - architecture.
Of course, this new product generation maintains maximum
compatibility with Selligent for Windows: the user interface
is the same, the same database can be used with both products,
and the configuration information, stored in the Selligent
Metadata, is used by both the Web and the Windows version.
With all the hype on Web-based,
Web-enabled, Web-this and Web-that you might start losing
interest in what looks like communication for highly technical
individuals from highly technical individuals. Selligent
is not in the habit of burning its shareholders’ money
in the quest for some technological Holy Grail. The enormous
effort that went into the development of Selligent.NET -
which continues in the future - has one reason only: provide
a more competitive product to make our customers more competitive. |
