TrackFree help desk software enables you to: keep track of PC configurations and assets; manage your help desk work orders; perform reports and user defined queries. TrackFree is a fully scalable and Web-enabled PC management system.

Logging service requests
End users can log service requests from TrackFree’s MS Outlook style interface or via the Web. A preview pane allows support reps to view request details immediately.

Resolve problems quickly and efficiently
Self-help provides for a more cost effective delivery of support services. Both end-users and support-reps can search the Standard Solutions database for common problems, and best practices procedures.
Support reps can also conduct a Boolean search on the historical service requests database. In this way, knowledge is retained as a corporate asset that remains with the company despite of staff turnover.

Web Interface
The Web Interface allows your end users to access TrackFree from anywhere in the world, using just an internet browser. This eliminates the need of installing TrackFree on every user’s computer.

Track and manage service requests
With TrackFree, nothing ‘falls through the cracks’. TrackFree provides a rich workflow paradigm, with tools for real-time monitoring of help desk activities. The prioritized queuing system directs requests to the appropriate support personnel who receive notification by alarm.

Identify recurring problems, detect trends, improve the quality of service
Over 25 predefined “Standard Reports” provide you with an extensive range of viewpoints for examining the support that you deliver to your end users. These reports can help you identify recurring problems and solve their source, rather than continuously resolving issues.

Customizable user-defined queries
Support reps can use TrackFree’s Query Designer to drill down for specific data that would otherwise be difficult to discover. They can also save their custom queries and use them on an ongoing basis.

PC hardware and software scanning
TrackFree’s Workstation Auditing Utility can automatically and unobtrusively gather inventory data from the workstations on your LAN. Running from a login script, it will collect essential information in helping your support reps diagnose PC problems and resolve them quickly.

FollowUps
When creating or updating service requests, users can schedule automatic reminders for themselves. Support reps can also create their own FollowUp reminders or set them for each other.
